Our founder

Talin Haroutunian, Managing Attorney and founder of the firm, is licensed to practice in California, New York and the District of Columbia. With more than 20 years experience working with large, fortune 500 companies, as well as boutique enterprises, Ms. Haroutunian counsels clients on all aspects of daily operations and strategic decision-making, and has experience representing banks and other financial institutions, solar power project developers, apparel and fashion houses, and a vast array of businesses in between, in various aspects of the law including, general commercial business matters, asset based lending, real estate transactions, leasing, labor and employment matters, intellectual property, and international IP matters in the MENA region and China.
Prior to founding Business Counsel Group PC, Ms. Haroutunian was an attorney with Buchalter in Los Angeles, and other boutique firms she practiced employment litigation and general corporate law, including business litigations and mergers and acquisitions. She earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she was Chief Executive Editor of the Entertainment Law Review.
Ms. Haroutunian is fluent in Armenian and Spanish and currently serves as a Lecturer in Law at USC Gould School of Law.
